Parking was terrible to get into, due to construction. No advance warning given. Put in upstairs room when downstairs rooms where available of the same type.
Had no towels in the room. The door had a pretty big draft and there was no smoke detector
The room was filthy. Had blood splatter on the wall from someone shooting up heroin I'm assuming. The sink was clogged. There was no light bulb in the lamp. There was no battery in the smoke alarm. There was black hair all over the sheets and the towels. The tub was missing pieces and u could see straight into the wall. There was gross film on the tub and gnats were coming out of the sink.
The hotel was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was healthy and complete. The bed seemed small for a queen but it was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet

Most of the reviews I read ahead were pretty good, but I caught some reviews last minute (other sites) that were not very good, so we went in with some concern. The event we were at ran late and we didn't arrive at motel until sometime after midnight. Check in was fast & efficient, But then I went to check the room. No one had bothered to sweep the bathroom floor, so there was a nail (finger/toe?) clipping on the floor as well as some other debris (don't think it was biological, almost looked like wire strippings??) behind toilet. Also, while you could tell they sanitized the toilet, it has quite a bit of hair on it. The whole place didn't feel very clean. We checked the bed and it seemed very clean, so since it was late we slept and left early next morning. I feel like the place could be really good, but they need to clean some areas better. I also think the woman who was overseeing the breakfast area needs some food handling training, it wasn't enough to make me leave, but I did have some concerns. I likely would not return.
