Staff was exceptional! Location was perfect and close proximity to the ballpark. Room was small but clean and fit our needs for the weekend. Hotel bars were amazing and proximity to good restaurants was a plus. I can not say tablet the staff… they were amazing

I love staying at the Siren. The location, the historic lobby, the Candy Bar, the room designs, all make for a special stay.

Very small rooms. Very loud. Hard to sleep. Very nice decor.

This place is excellent…will be back for sure

Me and a girlfriend had a one- night stay in Detroit and this was a perfect location. Staff were very polite and accommodating. It's not a quiet location and the hotel had a noisy and lively reception but it was a Friday night and lots happening in town. The room was quiet though. The only issues I had were with parking. They only do valet and they weren't able to park my manual car, but they allowed me to park up front instead which worked out perfectly. I also had a difficult time adjusting the temperature, so I was cold much of the night.

The staff & hotel were absolutely on point & charming!

Super friendly staff and great location to get around Detroit!

Nice room, very small and cozy, retro. We were on the 12th floor and it was extremely loud from the street below all night. Long wait to get checked in. The hours for Karl's restaurant/diner showed open til midnight so we went and sat down at 10:30pm and they said we couldn't order any food, only drinks. We had to wander the streets and could not find anything to eat on a Saturday night at 10:30pm! The lounge was extremely loud and packed and people piled in the hallway and it was tough to get on the elevator. Price was extremely high for downtown Detroit and not worth the price. After we checked out, it took forever to get our vehicle because they couldn't find it. The valet mixed up the tags. Not the best experience.

We were excited to stay at this boutique hotel. (We like boutique hotels as they always offer a fun experience) Upon entry it looked beautiful and clean. (Although building was hard to determine because it says Karls not Siren. Once we got to our room. It was very small. Way smaller than expected. Think like half a dorm room size. We didn't have hot water. It was luke warm. It took 10 minutes of the shower running to even get that temp! I talked to the receptionist and they told me they would move us rooms. And i said that's okay if they could just send someone up to look at it so we can take showers in the AM. No one came so it was cold showers all weekend. Additionally i got locked in the bathroom because the door was half broken. So by the time my husband was able to get me out. The door didn't open all the way. Hindsight, i should've just accepted the new room when offered because it was one thing right after another. The bed was alright, but the sheets and bedding were really nice. Also they said we were booked through expedian even though we booked through Orbitz. They didn't offer the VIP perk of a free beverage. I had to show the manager the email and he was like i've never heard of this. So that was a disappointment. It was also very crowded with people tying to get into the Candy Bar "Bar" that we had a difficult time checking in. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again when visiting Detroit. Disappointing experience. I don't recommend this place!

The property has a bar and diner inside of it, but consider making reservations because the waitlist was too long for us to enjoy the bar. The room was very small, but definitely adequate. It had a very European feel and was close to everything we wanted.

I would stay here again for the food & walkable amenities. The hotel itself has a rustic and chill vibe.
