Great stay! Beautiful property right on beach! The kitchen was fully equipped and beds were comfortable. This property allows pets which is often hard to find beachfront. The office staff was helpful, and kind. We'll stay again!
The suite was great, loved the balcony and view. Building was a little run down.

This was our fourth stay at this place. I like the easy beach access,can't beat that. First two times we got kitchenette suites , two other times we had a timy rfidg and microwave.plus each stay is more expensive than the previous with reduced amenities.I think this is also the only place I had to pay for ice $2 each bag.they are still recovering from the hurricane so two building are still under construction,so you have to go to access road to drive to the beach.
had a nice time. Many rooms were still under repair but no work noticed noticed after 8 PM. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We will return.
We relaxed on the very nearby beach all day with our 2 dogs. We all rinsed off, including the dogs, using the convenient outside showers so we didn't track sand in to our room. The room was wonderfully cool and the shower was perfectly warm. Then we cooked a nice dinner in the room's kitchenette. The kitchen utensils were sufficient, in good condition and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding and towels were good quality - no tiny, thin towels or scratchy sheets! The walls are quite thin and the adjoining room doors had gaps at the bottom, allowing even more sounds to pass between us and the neighbors. Of course, many newer places don't have adjoining rooms so it may be a plus for some families that they are available here. The small closet had 3 good shelves in addition to the clothes rod, but the door would only open about 1/3 of the way as it dragged on the floor. It was a minor inconvenience for us and should be corrected. Overall, we were happy to be comfortable and so close to the beach.
Chelsea in the office was great. Too bad about the power outage but, we survived.
This is a perfect place, very clean and hotel personal is very kind. I would like to continue my vacations staying here!
We stayed here because people gave it great reviews but I'm not sure why. The room was very dirty and the room was nothing like the pictures online. The bed was very soft, I think it was foam. The bathtub had a huge crack down the middle and everything was very old. Yes it was close to the beach but we ended up packing up everything and driving to the beach anyways. Next time we will stay somewhere else.

Aw shucks- sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. Please remember we have many different room types here at Beachgate. Sounds like you rented the most basic room we had. Hope you will give us another chance in a different room type.
