A very beautiful place

Wonderful staff, great breakfast, superb location.

I loved the whole experience! The proximity to Blarney Castle and Gardens was excellent to be able to leave the car and stroll over and explore the castle area and the town. The hotel was charming and I would definitely stay here time and time again.

Spent five days in Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel. Staff was excellent and location great for day trips throughout SW Ireland. There are three excellent restaurants in the town and nice pm tea at hotel. Hotel has separate breakfast section in restaurant next door so you don't need to stand in the crush with the tour groups who arrive at 9 am for castle next door.

Great location, large and comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast!

Very nice and walking to the Blarney Stone was easy. The grounds of the Blarney Castle were beautiful and a delightful surprise. Fun experience that was a must to do in Cork county.

This a beautiful place to stay. Excellent food and sites to see within easy walking distance. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.

Very comfortable, easy cab ride into Cork Beautiful shopping in the woolen mills shop

very convenient to blarney castle & pretty historic building. reception and breakfast dining staff could have been more attentive. breakfast wasn't great.

WE GOT TO OUR HOTEL PARKING AREA AND FOUND THAT EVERY TOUR BUS AND TOURIST PARKS IN THIS PARKING LOTAS IT IS USED FOR THE WOOLEN MILLS, AND BLARNEY CASTLE, AND THE,HOTEL. SO FINDING A PARKING SPOT WAS A CHALLENGE. THEY HAVE SUCH A HIGH VOLUME OF PEOPLE GOING THROUGH, THAT ONE IS JUST ANOTHER FACE THERE. AND YOUR TREATED THAT WAY, SADLY. BREAKFAST WAS DISAPPOINTING. LUNCH ROOM STYLE, GET YOUR TRAY AND FIND FOOD. NO HELP,HARD TO FIND A FULL IRISH BREAKFAST THERE.AND ANYTHING GOOD COST EXTRA... THE ROOM WAS SMALL AND STUFFY, THE FURNITURE WAS TATERED AND OLD, AND THE STAFF WAS THERE...JUST DONT BOTHER THEM..... BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE THE MILL AND THE CASTLE ARE SOO CLOSE YOU CAN ALMOST FORGET ABOUT THE HOTEL..

I have stayed here many times and again no disappointments! Recent remodel of the front lobby is very nice. Great staff! Easy parking. Good food. Great shopping! Just across the way to Blarney Castle.

We picked this hotel because our main reason for going to Cork was the Blarney Castle. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was when we arrived. Our flight from Heathrow was delayed so we didn't get in until after 1 am. We were quickly checked in by the night security officer and given a quick rundown of breakfast times. Our room was much larger than expected and the only downside was it was rather warm. We couldn't really figure out why it was warm as it was pretty chilly outside. The next morning we were able to walk quickly down the street to send a majority of the day exploring the castle grounds and of course kissing the Blarney stone. The village of Blarney is also a nice quaint, little village that is worth wandering around. The Blarney Woolen Mills store is attached to the hotel and you could easily spend hours in there as well. If you want to pop into Cork for a day you can take the bus which is right by the hotel as well. I would recommend staying here if your main focus is Blarney but if you are wanting to explore Cork over a couple days you might be better off staying there.

The Hotel was really old, and in major need of an update. The staff was very friendly, but the rooms we had were awful. We were in a non smoking room, that smelled like fifty years worth of stale cigarettes. The best thing about the hotel was the superb location. It was a 5 minute walk from the Blarney Castle.
