Good location
This place is a classic, located right on the river. Rooms are comfortable and freshly renovated and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay.
Hyatt regency in Austin had really amazing guest service. I had to catch an early flight to Austin and was there way before check-in time, but they accommodated me and got me a room almost right away. It’s also right in the river so you can walk to food and shopping in the area, but can also use the walking path/trail that runs along the river and it’s right next to the bridge so you can see the bats at dusk. Really good experience.
Great location on the river. Wonderful stay in Austin.
We very much enjoyed our 5-day stay. Our room had a balcony facing the river, in view of Congress Bridge and the nightly bat spectacle! The hotel is clean, well maintained, and in a convenient location for walking/running/biking downtown or along the river.
Not a good experience. Parking was extremely expensive for self parking, food was very limited and only until 10pm, and was initially told there would be no cleaning service for my 3 night stay. Will not stay again.
I liked everything, except they double charged my card and I had to wait four days to get my money back, which had a huge impact on my trip.
The hotel has no safety Covid precaution, the cleaning workers did not wear mask , open the door frequently while we are sleeping to clean, the worker who is doing window cleaning look at us while cleaning the window , the variety of the food at the restaurant is limited , the smell of the hotel seems to be rotten. front desk didn't give us good room while the entire hotel is empty over all bad experience
Was over charged by hundred of dollars and they have no idea where these charges came from. Also my room on the 15th floor by the elevators was extremely loud, they did not have the room I booked originally so they wanted me to pay more in an upgrade rather than be hospitable and kindly making up for there lack of rooms
Drop the eco-friendly question from the survey.
Chair in room was ripped in many spots! Bedding got dirty next day, never was changed when housekeeping was done! Fridge was poor, barely cold! Breakfast way too expensive!
My room was not cleaned while I was there, even though I left at 10 am and requested it be cleaned. They were very unapologetic about it. I was not impressed.
